Your account
Create an account with a username, your email and a password of at least 10 characters. Your account is ready immediately and you are signed in. We send you a welcome email. An email address can only belong to one account.
Choose My account at the top to find your profile, events and discussions. Choose Sign out in the same menu to sign out. Have you forgotten your password?
A website account and club membership are two different things.
Join the discussion
- Open discussions. Choose Read discussion beside the conversation you want to read.
- Want to reply? Sign in, type in Your reply and choose Send reply.
- Have a new question? Choose Start a discussion. Enter a title and message, then choose Post discussion.
Use Preview post to read your text before sending it. Find new replies under Notifications at the top of the page.
My discussions brings together your own topics, discussions you take part in and those you like. The historical discussions can be read but are closed to new replies.
Register your boat
Choose Register your boat. Enter the boat's name, sail number and home waters, and feel free to share its story. Save a draft to add photos, then submit the boat for review.
You can find it again under My boats. If the boat is already in the register, then contact the club to have it linked to your account.
Share a story or photo
Write a story about a trip or an experience with the dinghy. You can save a draft and continue later. After saving once, you can add photos at the bottom. Submit the story for review when it is ready.
Sell a dinghy, sails or equipment
Create a listing with a description, price, area and expiry date. The contact address you enter in the listing becomes public. Your private account address is not displayed automatically.
Editors review new listings. Once the item is sold, you can change its status to Sold and submit the change for review. After approval, it disappears from current offers.
Sign up for a trip
- Open Events, then choose the trip you want to join.
- Choose View registration. Sign in if asked.
- Check your name and email, then choose Sign me up. When you see You are registered, your registration is saved.
Find the trip again under My account → My events. You can also change or cancel your registration there.
If you have an idea for an activity, write to the club with a date, meeting place and short description.
Share photos from a sailing trip
- Open Share photos, then choose photos from your phone or computer.
- Enter a title and a short description of the trip.
- Choose Submit photos for review. The editors check them before they appear on the website.
Save a handbook page
- Open Handbook, then find the page you want to take on your trip.
- Choose Save this page for offline use. Then find the file in Downloads on your device.
- Open the file before your trip and check that the text and photos are included. Links to other pages still need an internet connection.
